Rouge Bunny Rouge Gleaming Temptations Lipgloss Set

i was sent this set consisting of 2 Gleaming Temptations Lipglosses from Rouge Bunny Rouge to review.
it consists of the shades #046 Come Here, Sweetie and #047 Mystical Dawn. both shades are from the permanent range, but this set is new and exclusive to QVC as a special offer. while you would pay 23.59€ for each on zuneta.com (where i always used to buy my RBR products), together they cost "only" 29€ on QVC. as the range expands on QVC (they don't offer everything yet, for example not all shades of the foundation) you should take a look there, too, because the prices are better than in the UK.

the packaging is lovely, perfect to gift to someone. the tube is sleek with a floral print. it has a metal cap and a flocked doe foot applicator. it contains 7ml.
the texture of this gloss is fairly thick but non-sticky, it lasts about 4-5h on me and fades to a balmy texture first and then only the shimmer is left. it becomes a little bit goopy after 3-4h (and a lot of talking ;) ) though, so i tend to take it off then and reapply. it doesn't dry out my lips but leaves them soft and moisturised as it contains a lot of nourishing and antioxidant ingredients. it's smells of a natural fresh citrus scent, but only subtly. the finish is very glossy and makes my lips look plump and shiny.

Come Here, Sweetie is a tomato red with red and silver microshimmers. the pigmentation is quite high so i have only worn it on it's own yet but i can imagine it would pimp a red lipstick perfectly for a night-out shimmery hot red lip. worn alone it's a perfect natural "beginner's red" or "everyday red" and makes my lips look bright and flushed. it applies evenly without the colour pigments settling into my lip lines.

compared to my red glosses: Come Here, Sweetie is the most warm shade.

Mystical Dawn is a transparent gloss with silver and gold shimmer bits. it feels a bit grittier than the red gloss. it makes my lips look glossy wet and shimmery, i like to wear this on it's own with minimalistic dewy looks but it can also be worn over lipsticks or lipstains.

compared to my other shimmery white/transparent glosses it has the least shimmers. Calvin Klein Dazzle has a multicolour/blue shimmer, Manhattan has a pink opalescence and MAC Luminary has a fine gold pearl.

out of the two, i definitely like the red Come Here, Sweetie better.  it's such a beautiful easy to wear red. i'm going to wear it a lot in this sunny season! the transparent shade is not "special" enough for me. but the set is a great deal and tempts me to get the other set that is also available and contains of a rosewood and a peachy shade.

FYI: this product was sent to me for review purposes by Rouge Bunny Rouge (Thank you!). i got it for free and without any conditions, it's my honest opinion about the product and i'm not affiliated with the brand.
